Discover Oman on a self-drive journey! Explore the capital Muscat, picturesque forts and colorful markets, magical oases and the Wahiba Sands desert, where you will spend a night in a comfortable desert camp. The trip ends on the coast at Ras Al Jinz, where you can observe sea turtles.
Day 1: Muscat
- Arrival in Muscat and rental car pickup
- Drive to hotel in Al Khuwair
- Time to explore the area
- Overnight stay: Muscat | Hotel 4* + Breakfast
Day 2: Muscat
- Sightseeing in the capital: city center, fish and fruit markets, Sultan’s Palace Al Alam
- Optional visit to Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali along the coast
- Recommended visits: National Museum and Bait Al Baranda, a small interactive museum house
- Stroll through Muttrah Souq

Day 3: Muscat – Musannah
- Drive north to the large Nakhl Fort
- Stop at Ain Thowarah natural spring
- Continue through a palm oasis to the coastal town of Musannah
- Free afternoon to relax by the sea

Day 4: Musannah – Nizwa
- Journey inland, passing through the oasis of Birkat Al Mauz
- Recommended visit: the picturesque village of Misfat Al Abriyeen
- Drive to Nizwa, famous for its fort and lively bazaar
- Stroll through the old town and souqs

Day 5: Nizwa – Bahla – Jabrin
- Morning visit to Nizwa Market
- Visit Bahla Fort (UNESCO) and Jabrin Castle with its beautiful frescoes
- Return through scenic villages with optional visit to pottery workshop in Bahla

Day 6: Nizwa – Wahiba Sands
- Drive to Wahiba Sands desert, stop in Al Mintirib

Day 7: Wahiba Sands – Ras Al Jinz
